PROJECT OVERVIEW
We had some tasks to tackle: Celebrating the birthday of the Publix sub sandwich was on our agenda, along with activating all of the Publix social media channels. I took the lead on developing and writing the story to mark the occasion.
MY ROLE
- Story Development: Took the reins in crafting the social activation story, leading the charge from “As If” brainstorming sessions to concept and development.
- Creative Direction: Set the vibe across all touchpoints, ensuring it’s all that and a bag of chips.
- GIFs & Stickers: Cooked up concepts for all GIFs and Stickers, making sure they’re as fly as a Tamagotchi.
- Naming: Named the whole shindig and teamed up with Social Media Leadership to lock in hashtags that are da bomb.com.
RESULTS & IMPACT
- Sliced through consumer insights to create an activation that’s more popular than a footlong on game day.
- Layered it with a recipe for success in design, making sure it’s not just a one-bite wonder but a sub that satisfies for years to come.
- Started stacking up the trend of narrative-driven experiences at Publix, turning every shopping trip into a flavorful journey without needing a map to the deli aisle.
