PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of a creative trio, featuring myself as the writing/story lead, an art director, and a video director, we set out to find a fresh take on the Publix “It’s My Pleasure” video series. Our goal? To create content so engaging, you’ll want to scoop it up faster than a kid in the candy aisle! 

MY ROLE

  • Story & Writing Lead: I crafted the script from scratch and concocted the interview questions, ensuring our narrative was as crisp as a fresh produce aisle.
  • Location Scouting: I scoured the land (mostly the Corporate campus) for the perfect settings, like a grocery hunter seeking out the ripest spots for our shoots.
  • Revamped the video description: I gave our video description a makeover, spinning words like a chef spices up a dish, making it more tantalizing than a gourmet meal.
  • Created a new overall series description: I penned a new series description that captured the essence of our stories, sprinkling it with charm and flair like sprinkles on a cupcake.
  • B-roll video direction: I teamed up to direct the B-roll shots, choreographing each scene like a dance, ensuring our footage was as smooth as butter melting on a warm biscuit.

RESULTS & IMPACT

We opted for a more human touch, spotlighting the Publix Associate alongside delightful B-roll footage to showcase their passions, skills, and their hustle at work. It’s like adding the cherry on top of a sundae, making our stories all the more flavorful and engaging.
